What is CBD Oil for pets?

What are the benefits of CBD for my dog ?
CBD oil can be used to treat seizures, nausea, stress, anxiety (fireworks, thunder, car rides, grooming etc), arthritis, back pain, symptoms of cancer, and gastrointestinal issues, among other health conditions in dogs. Relief is provided as the cannabinoids in marijuana interact with the endocannabinoid system. It also makes a great training aid.
Can my pet overdose?

Are there any Drug interactions?
CBD oil has very few drug interactions; they include meds in the P450 family that require a person to stay away from Grapefruit. There are similar enzymes in CBD that keep those medications from metabolizing. That is under the assumption that MCT oil is not the carrier oil.
Why not MCT Oil ?
MCT oil is the enemy when it comes to CBD oil. MCT oil is a high fat oil that coats the lining of the stomach which can cause issues with absorption of both nutrients and slow release medications including birth control. Mct oil can also cause diarrhea vomiting and cluster headaches in those prone to headaches. MCT oil is also something to stay away from if you have issues with your gallbladder or do not have one. MCT oil can also cause fatty liver.
How long does it take to work?
With the oral oils it depends on the reason you are taking it with anxiety and sleep. Generally people notice a difference after the first dose. For things like diabetes, IBS, Crohn's it can take several doses to see the full effects.
With Topicals it typically takes 15-30 minutes to notice a difference with inflammation. If you are using it for Eczema or Psoriasis results may take up to 2 weeks to see full effects.
Does it taste bad ?
No, because our oils come from Hemp plants not Marjunna plants there is little to no taste at all, although it does have an oily texture.
What do you recommend for arthritis ?
We always recommend trying it topically first as it can be applied to the area of pain and quickly and efficiently. If it's more of a chronic pain we also suggest the Fibro oil as it has nutmeg turmeric and magnesium which will also help to really reduce inflammation and pain.
